10. Undo closed window

If you accidentally close a tab you'd meant to keep open, Firefox 3, at least through extensions like Tab Mix Plus, can bring it back. If you accidentally kill a separate window full of tabs, though, you've been pretty much out of luck. Firefox 3.5 implements a restore feature for both tabs and windows from the History menu, which would (hopefully) also restore any text you've typed into them.

9. Forget this site

Tools like Private Browsing Modes and history wipers are good for what they do, but sometimes it would be great to have just one site wiped off your history—either because it's hogging your quick address bar results, or because you'd rather your coworker be unaware of your workday LOLcat browsing. Firefox 3.5's history browser offers a convenient "Forget this site" option, erasing your browser's memory of particular domains. It doesn't cover subdomains, and your network traffic and Flash memory would still hold some details, but it's a handy tweak however you cut it.

8. Tab tearing

Google Chrome somewhat stole the thunder out from under this feature, but it's still a nice one: Grab a tab and drag it out a bit to create a new browser window from it. Drag windows into tabs again, and open any tab in a new window from the right-click menu, if clicking and dragging isn't your style.

7. Keyword AwesomeBar filters

Firefox 3's AwesomeBar/address bar offers a speedy list of suggestions to complete whatever you're typing. That's great, but that list comes from your page history, bookmarks, and tags, and can be matched by URL or name, leaving some results almost uselessly cluttered. This gets fixed with special character filters in the next Firefox. Restrict a search by typing "life *" for just your bookmarks with the words "life" in them, or just your tagged "lh" items with "lh +". Anything that really makes getting backs getting back to importantly web destinations quickly is a welcome upgrade.

6. Smarter session restore

What good is it to bring back all the tabs you just lost to a crash if the tab that brought everything down comes back too? Firefox's developers took a cue from the users and turned the session restore feature into more of a crash recovery tool, allowing users to select which tabs should come back. If you don't know who's the culprit, here's a hint: It's probably the one with Flash on it.

5. Private browsing mode

The snarky types (i.e. my editor) can call it "Porn Mode," but this feature, already in a number of competing browsers, has uses beyond the prurient. Beyond obvious situations, like gift buying and sensitive research, logging onto a friend's browser for a quick email check or bill pay is made a lot more secure if you can get to the private mode. Likewise, anonymizing some of your searches and cookie collection on your own machine isn't a bad idea, and a private mode can do that too. You don't need it all the time, but you might be glad it's available.

4. Color profiles that pop

Different cameras, monitors, and capture devices grab and set colors in different ways. On the web, most colors look the same, though, because they're filtered and optimized for quick viewing in every browser. Firefox 3.5 introduces dynamic color profiles for each picture, meaning that whatever the graphic designer or photographer saw when they were doing their work, you'll see it on their web page.

3. TraceMonkey JavaScript engine

Months ago, Mozilla said its still-in-development JavaScript engine, TraceMonkey, was "20 to 40 times" faster than the SpiderMonkey engine installed in Firefox 3. That hasn't shown up in our speed tests, which themselves rely on a Mozilla-assembled testing suite, but JavaScript testing suites are often like drag races—they don't really tell you what a browser runs like in a real daily sense, just pure timings. Even if TraceMonkey is ultimately outpaced by Chrome and/or Safari, its innovations push the whole browser market forward and give us all a bit less load time to complain about.

If you type post office into a maps site, you probably don't want the headquarters of the U.S. Post Office, or post office listings from two towns over. Integrated geo-location, powered by Google's Wi-Fi triangulation and simple IP address information, looks to know roughly where you are and help you when you're looking for something local. You can disable it if you'd like, but, realistically, signing on from any IP address reveals a bit about where you are anyways. If a good number of sites pick it up, geo-location could bring to the browser what a lot of people are already enjoying on their phone.

If you're viewing a page coded in HTML 5 with video in an open-source format like Ogg Vorbis or Theora, Firefox 3.5 treats that video like it's just part of the page, not a separate little island of Flash content. That means instant commenting on videos. It could also mean offering links from inside a tutorial video that offer more details on what's being shown—soldering tips on an iPhone repair guide would be keen. In general, it's just a promising step forward into a seamless melding of video and text on a future web.

Optimization - Ad Formats

Choosing the right Adsenes ad format to use in your web page can make a huge difference in Adsense earnings. Even if you have chosen the right ad placement the type of ad you choose will influence users perception and their willingness to click the ads.

Most people under estimate the importance of ad rotation when selecting an ad format to use. Ad rotation is the rate at which ads are rotated with regard to page impressions. A larger ad format such as the 160 x 600 will have a faster ad rotation than a single smaller ad such as the 125 x 125. Ad rotation is Google's way to determine which ads are performing well on your page, and hence display more of that ad or similar ads.

It's a fine balance between ad rotation and ad size to increase your Adsense earnings. If your site is full of large Adsense ads then the user will most probably become distracted. Similarly, if you use small ads by weaving them into content you may be pleasing the user but you will be subject to a slower ad rotation and hence slower ad optimization. There's no hard and fast rule, only detailed channel tracking and patience.

Top 5 Ad Unit formats for optimized high Adsense earnings:

1.	160 x 600	The 160 x 600 Adsense ad is the most popular ad format because it fits snugly in most web site designs and offers a good ad rotation ratio. The 160 x 600 out performs the 120 x 600 because of its extra space and attractiveness to the user.
2.	125 x 125	The 125 x 125 Adsense format is the perfect choice for content placement. Its size makes it the ideal partner for middle content placement, wrapped around other site content to attract the users eye. With a poor ad rotation policy it is the best choice for established sites or publishers with a good eye for weeding out MFA sites using their competitive filter list.
3.	468 x 60	The 468 x 60 Adsense format provides a streamlined ad format that occupies little space and can be used along the primary middle horizon placement (see heat map). It offers decent ad rotation but still not great. Once again this ad is a good choice for in-line content placement to attract the users eye whilst focussed on your sites content.
4.	336 x 280	The 336 x 280 will be a the surprise choice for most of you but it's a great performer if used intelligently. An ideal use is side by side with another 336 x 280 to provide up to 8 Adsense ads per page view. This offers maximum ad rotation and hence optimized Google ad selection for your page.
5.	234 x 60	Another one of the in-line content ads. The 234 x 60 Adsenes format is best suited to being wrapped into the main content of your page. Whilst its ad rotation is poor it still provides a compact ad placement.

The placement of your Adsense ads can make the difference between a little money and a lot. You should never stop experimenting with ad positions to increase your Adsense earnings. Remember 'good enough is never enough'. Lets look at a few ad placements and analyze which are the most popular and of course the most profitable:

Top Banner (3 / 10)		The top Adsense banner position used to be a good performer for many people in the past. These days people have become too used to seeing ads displayed at the top of the page that they skim over them paying little or no attention. When we refer to top banner we assume that the banner rests just below you site logo or graphic. The size of your graphic or the padding you use under the image can play a big role in increasing Adsense CTR. If you do choose to use the top banner position then you should aim to either have a big graphic to push the ads more towards the center of the screen, or, use the html padding property to increase the space between the graphic and the ad.
Left Skyscraper (7 / 10)		The left skyscraper is one of the most profitable Adsense placement areas at the moment. Researches have concluded that because of the way our eyes read content from left to right we can encourage ad clicks from left hand skyscrapers. A skyscraper that is also blended in with a couple of links with the majority of links being on the right of the screen works very well.
Left small (6 / 10)		The left small ad position is also a profitable position but lacks the punch of the skyscraper because only a few ads are shown. This causes less ad rotation and restricts the Google algorithm in deciding which ads are most profitable for your site. When blended with a small number of site links you can increase CTR by attracting more users without plaguing them with too many ads like the skyscraper.
Right sky scraper (4 / 10)		A right hand side sky scraper also works well, but the left hand sky scraper still out performs it. If you choose to include the majority of your links on the right of your page then you can increase the CTR, but if you use a right sky scraper and the majority of your links on the left of the screen then users will seldom read the ads.
Right small (5 / 10)		The right small position produces a better CTR than the right sky scraper because of the way our eyes skim the middle horizon of a web page. Once again, if blended well with a small number of site links you can increase your Adsense earnings dramatically. Also try putting images above the ad to make the ad appear to be related to the image. This is a tip which is only just within the rules of Adsense which a lot of people take advantage of.
Middle top (8 / 10)		The middle top is a decent enough earner where as it seems as though it should be the best. If you can blend the ad into site headings and navigation links then the middle top can become a good Adsense earner. However, this is a difficult process and its much easier to use the 'middle content' ad position.
Middle content (10 / 10)		The middle content position is the well known highest payer, simply because its wrapped into site content and attracts the users eye. We recommend using the add in an html table to align the ad with the central content of your page.
Middle footer (9 / 10)		The middle footer is the undiscovered earner that most people often miss. If you think about it logically the bottom of the content presents the point at which a user has finished reading the content and is open to click on an ad. If your ads are all positioned at the top of the page then the user will most likely close the screen instead. Use this position together with internal navigation links for the best affect on Adsense earnings.

Our example only shows the Adsense placements for a standard web page layout. Of course there are thousands of different page layouts and it really is up to you to discover which positions work the best. Try to use the channel reporting feature as much as possible. Give each channel time so you can analyze its performance over a couple of weeks, then experiment with alternative positions for the low earners.

We recommend that to maximize earnings you should use Ad Units over Ad Links, and Adsense for Search only in the middle top section position.

Steps in installing WP Premium templates.

Go to Edit HTML
Back up your original template (Download full Template)
Browse for the new template then click Upload
If asked to delete a list of widgets, click Confirm and Save
Click Save Template
After a successful Save, it is better to remove all widgets below Ads widget. Do not delete the Ads widget. Click Save Template then reconstruct your previous widgets, including link lists, feeds, recent comments, etc. Your template back up xml comes handy if you have to copy/paste some scripts or html back to your new template. (You may open your xml back up in Excel or notepad). Do not worry if blogger experiences hiccups when saving. Close then open blogger until you make a successful save.
Be sure to create a widget and drag it right below the Ads widget so that the 3 graphic frames become visible (I usually put there my Recent Posts, a feed widget of my own RSS Feeds.
To reconstruct the CSS Menu you have to edit the HTML. Click Expand Widget Templates and edit the ul class below div id= crosscol-wrapper . Replace all the http links with your own urls.

Trick to add adsense between two posts

Blogging platform, now has the ability to allow Blogger users to add AdSense ads in between their posts using Show Ads Between Posts feature. To put and show AdSense ads units between posts in Blogger template is very easy, in fact, users not even need to know any HTML code programming knowledge. Just follow step-by-step instructions at the below guide. 1. Sign into Blogger account. 2. At Blogger Dashboard, click on Settings link listed behind “Manage” for the blog that you want to enable to show AdSense ads between posts. 3. Click on Template tab, and then click on Page Elements sub-tab if it hasn’t been already selected.

On the lower right corner of “Blog Posts” widget, click on Edit link. A “Configure Blog Posts” web page will be loaded, select and tick the check box for Show Ads Between Posts setting under “Select Items” section. # Once “Show Ads Between Posts” option is selected, a “Configure Inline Ads” configuration options section will appear. Here, users can set how often the ads will appear, i.e. to show and display ads after every 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 posts up to maximum of 3 ads on a web page due to AdSense program policies. Hide navbar in blogger template

Hide Navbar From Blogger Layout as some blog owners dont like navbar at the top of blog to be shown. So you can hide it from your readers as just need to add small piece of css codes to make it invisible.
